The Citizone Points of Presence (PoPs) are your first point of contact for in-person customer service.

Getting to Priory House:

By Car: A map showing the location of Priory House is available here.

Mid Beds District Council’s main office is at Priory House, just off the A507 between Shefford and Clophill. We are adjacent to the Chicksands MoD DISC site opposite the turn for Campton.

By Bus:

The following bus services stop at the A507/Priory Road bus stop opposite the Priory House/MoD entrance (as at 23/April/2008).

• 200  - Grant Palmer - Flitwick to Biggleswade;
• 201  - Stagecoach - Bedford to Henlow Camp; and
• 79 - Centrebus - Luton to Shefford/Meppershall

Office Opening Times and Out of Hours

Mid Beds Council Offices are open from
08:45 - 17:00 Mon - Thurs
and
08:45 - 4pm on Fridays.

Please note that the Citizone Points of Presence (PoPs) do not open until 09:30 on Wednesdays to allow for staff training.

When the offices are closed and you URGENTLY need help that cannot wait until the next business day (Council Services Emergencies ONLY) you should telephone 08452 304040 (charged at local rate) or 01462 611222.

Please have a pen and paper ready as you will hear a recorded message giving you the telephone number of the Duty Officer.

Examples of emergencies include raves or other noise nuisance problems, unsafe buildings (for example due to storm or traffic damage).

Urgent payment or account enquiries (for example Council Tax enquiries) cannot be dealt with by the Duty Officer and must wait until the next business day.
