Make an Online Payment
In order that your payment is made as securely as possible, you must have registered with us and log into the site with your Username and Password. This process also allows you to enter the Council Tax, Business Rate or Sundry Invoice account references to which you want to pay. If you have not entered any reference numbers (which are checked on first entry to ensure money is credited to a valid account) you will not be able to make a payment. The reference numbers you enter are then selected from a drop down list when you make your payment to help prevent errors being made.
Your credit or debit card details will not be stored anywhere on our site or computers so they cannot be accessed by anyone else. To make the payment even more secure, we use WorldPay to request the payment for us. The facilities that WorldPay provide conform to the strictest security that is required to process internet payments and which is far higher than normal internet security.
When you have made your payment, both WorldPay and Mid Beds will send you email receipts to confirm that the payment has been made. There will be a WorldPay reference and a Mid Beds reference. Please keep these details safely in case you have a query at a later stage.
If you make your payment before 6pm it will be credited to your selected account(s) the next working day. If payment is made after 6pm, it will be credited to your account(s) in two working days time.
