Mid Beds District Council has a number of key plans and strategies in place to achieve our vision,  which is to improve the quality of life in Mid Beds.

Our corporate objectives are:

  1. To champion community interests and ensure all sections of the community have an opportunity to be involved / participate in decision making.
  2. To help create a safer, stronger, healthier and more prosperous community.
  3. To ensure that the development of the district is in accord with the Local Plan.
  4. To minimise waste, prevent and control pollution, and encourage sustainability.
  5. To improve the delivery and responsiveness of council services to our customers.                    

There are 12 high level targets that help us to achieve these aims and objectives.
