Introduction to Mid Beds Communications

This article gives an introduction to the Communications and Consultation work of the council.

The work of Mid Beds Communications team is focused in the following areas: 

• Media Enquiries
• Press Releases
• Media Monitoring
• Residents Panel - BedsVoice
• Old Residents Panel 2003 - 2006
• Horizon Magazine 
• Completed Consultations
• Mystery Shopper Surveys

An Overview Task Force Review was carried out in late 2005 / early 2006.  This resulted in a new Communications and Consultation Strategy for 2006-09.
A Communications Improvement Plan has also been approved and this is updated every six months.
