The district of Mid Bedfordshire nestles between the cities of Cambridge and Oxford. It is an area of gently rolling countryside peppered with woodland, heath and parkland. The Chiltern Hills and Downs border its southern edge, whilst the riverside county town of Bedford sits on our northern borders.

Mid Bedfordshire is noted for its rich and colourful history, which can be traced through the numerous churches, religious monuments and grand country houses found here, all hosted by the many picturesque villages and hamlets and complement the districts small market towns.

Running between and around the towns and villages is an expanse of wide open countryside, traversed with a network of footpaths and bridleways – ideal for those who enjoy time out in the great outdoors, or take pleasure in one of the many typical county pursuits including fishing, walking, cycling, riding, touring and golf.

Mid Bedfordshire offers something special for the day and short break visitor and for those wishing to stay a while longer and of course the business traveller.
