The famous collection of aircraft are housed in eight hangers. The collection, started by Richard Shuttleworth, depicts the history of flight from 1900-1940's ranging from a 1909 Bleriot to a world war II Spitfire. It is noted for its regular flying displays during the summer months, when all airworthy aircraft are flown alongside visiting aircraft including modern jets. Alongside the aircraft, exhibits of cars, motorcycles and carriages can also be enjoyed.
