The Museum is housed in the church where John Bunyan was once the minister. Known as the Bunyan Meeting Free Church, it occupies the site of the barn which the congregation purchased in 1672 and used as a place of worship. The Museum was opened in 1998 and visitors were invited to walk through the life and time of the famous preacher, pastor and author. On display are artefacts associated with his life, and a modern display illustrating scenes from his most celebrated work 'The Pilgrim's Progress'.
