Planning Approval obtained for CenterParcs at Warren Wood, Millbrook
The Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government has granted planning permission for the Forest Holiday Village at Warren Wood. She has over ruled the appeal inspector’s recommendation to refuse planning permission on green belt grounds. She has concluded that, in this particular case, the beneficial effects of the proposal on tourism, the economy and employment, along with the positive contribution to ecology and biodiversity, together amount to very special circumstances and are of sufficient weight to clearly outweigh the harm to the Green Belt.
