Sportshall Athletics Year 1 & 2 Mini Competitions
On Friday 1st December a mini sportshall athletics competition took place at Burgoyne Middle School, with four teams taking part these were 2 teams from Potton Lower School, and then one from Sutton Lower School and one from Wrestlingworth Lower School. This allowed the children to have a taster of what Sportshall Athletics is like and a few of the events from the programme.
All the children took part in all events which were the obstacle relay, 1+1 lap race, 2+2 lap race, standing triple jump, and standing long jump.
Scores were taken for all events, to give a combinded result for the teams.
The results are as follows:
1st - Wrestlingworth (1018)
2nd - Sutton (928)
3rd - Potton A (900)
4th - Potton B (890)
