Middle Schools Basketball Tournament 2006

This year the Mid Beds Middle Schools Basketball Tournament was held at Robert Bloomfield Middle School, who were a great host for such a successful tournament.

All 13 middle schools in Mid Beds were notified of the tournament and in total 12 schools and 390 children took part. Due to the high interest in competitions the tournament was divided into the following age groups: Year 7 girls, year 7 boys, year 8 girls and year 8 boys.

All of the following schools entered the Mid Beds Middle Schools Basketball Tournament: Woodland, Alban, Arnold, Sandye Place, Robert Bloomfield, Holywell, Holmemead, Henlow, Fulbrook, Etonbury, Burgoyne and Alameda Middle School.

Each competition was divided into two pools, with the winners of each pool playing off in the finals.
