Arts Aloud!...(pun intended!)
Is the community touring scheme for Mid Beds.
It is a perfect way for communities to try out different types of high quality professional performance arts events.
It also includes film (using our high quality, large mobile screen and digital equipment).
If this sounds like the kind of injection of activity YOUR community could do with, then you can register your interest by calling the Youth and Community Arts Worker on 01462 611244 or email: hilary.western1@midbeds.gov.uk.
If you become part of the scheme, you can get lots of FREE publicity for your event on the events pages of our website and in our Autumn/Spring Arts Events leaflet. Information for this needs to reach us by the August 1st 2008 deadline.
Arts Aloud! will offer a subsidy to pay for the cost of an event but it is not a guarantee against loss scheme. Communities will be expected to sell enough tickets to pay their share and anything over and above that will be profit that a community can invest for its benefit.
What CAN’T we support?
- performances organised by schools – apart from PTA groups
- Fetes and Fun days
- Performances by non-professional artists…however good they are!!
