As a young person where can I apply for funding for my projects?
There are a large number of places that fund youth led projects, as well as groups fundraising themselves! If you would like more information please contact Katy Henman, the Youth Participation Officer, on 01462 611008.
Crimebeat fund youth groups at the moment, with their key theme being involving young people in activities that divert them from crime. Big Lottery Fund - Young People's Fund - there are three types of grant under the Young People's Fund: Grants to voluntary and community organisations to run local projects with and for young people, grants to voluntary organisations to fund projects of national significance, grants to individual young people (or small groups of young people) to help them make a difference in their communities.
