Who can advise me on improving my home security and crime prevention/reduction?
Contact the Community Safety Officer at Mid Beds District Council on 01462 611225 and he will contact the appropriate Crime Reduction Officer for your area and arrange for them to contact you. In addition, for the elderly and/or vulnerable the ‘Bobby Vehicle’ scheme can be accessed. This scheme is a free service funded by Bedfordshire Police Partnership fund and offers advice and security improvements (spy hole, chains window locks, etc.).
