Do I need food hygiene training before I start up my food business?

Any person handling food should have a basic awareness of the essentials of food hygiene. Any person handling open "high risk" foods should be trained up to a level of the CIEH (Chartered Institute of Environmental Health) Basic Food Hygiene course within 4 weeks of starting.
