Housing Advice

The Housing Advice Service is a free specialist advice and assistance service provided by Aragon Housing Association on the Council’s behalf. The advice and assistance service offers advice on all matters relating to housing for private tenants, leaseholders, owner-occupiers, or housing association tenants including:

Access to emergency accommodation
County court help and representation where appropriate
Domestic Violence
General advice to existing Housing Association and private tenants
Harassment or illegal eviction by your landlord
Homelessness
Housing Options and accessing affordable housing
Housing benefit and other welfare benefits
Low level debt management
Mortgage arrears
Nuisance and threatening behaviour
Possession proceedings
Re-housing decision appeals
Rent arrears
Rights of Occupation
Securing your own accommodation
Tenancy issues
