One of the ways in which it tries to achieve this is by encouraging business to start up, to grow and to move to the area from outside.
The Council maintains an Economic Development Section who work with a large number of partners to help businesses, and links to these partners can be found on this site.
Mid Beds, together with these partners, has produced the Joint Economic Development Strategy, “Building A Sustainable Economy”. This explains the future development objectives for the area as a whole. This document can be downloaded by clicking on the link below.
